LG is playing a little coy about the features on this one If you’re looking to get your Core Duo on, LG has got another option for you to consider.
The sleekly designed, ultra thin Xnote S1 comes in a black-and-white motif that just screams, “I’ve got style.” The most notable feature is, of course, the Intel Dual Core CPU (there’s no explicit mention of a clock speed), but that’s not to say the rest of the specs should be ignored.
But what little info they’re providing sounds pretty good: the XNOTE S1 is a Core Duo laptop with a 15.4-inch WSXGA widescreen display, 5.1 surround With a 15.4 inch WSXGA (1680×1050) screen and excellent 5.1 surround sound, you have yourself a pretty powerful portable theatre on your lap.
There’s even a dedicated “Direct Media Experience Button” that shoots you straight into an interface designed for DVD, CD, or MP3 playback. Gaming should be a lot of fun with the ATI Mobility Radeon X1K GPU for all your 3D graphical needs.
They are dedicated media mode for DVD, CD and MP3 audio. Oh, and it comes in a snazzy black-and-white finish, too. Not too much else is known at this time, so we’ll just have to keep our eyes and ears peeled for some more Korean press releases to find out when, where, and how much the LG Xnote S1 is going to be.
